Learn how to use your own sewing kit and do basic hand stitches, mend clothes, and get to know your way around a needle! Learn the names and techniques of stitches, and how to apply them on clothes, and how know the best stitch to use. A repurposed mint tin has been built into a sewing kit included for every attendee! There will also be a demonstration on how to determine what your Second hand fabrics are made of with fire!**
Supplies will be provided, though you are welcome to bring existing clothes to learn how to mend them hands-on!
**How to determine fabric fiber content with fire will be demonstration only.
